Footprints, a sequence of images/visions for the Experimental Architecture section in the X Architecture Biennale in Venice, overturns the roles of figure and background in the city. In these visions the void becomes a primary force of collectivity, an ecological footprint.
Against the fragmentation of public space in the contemporary city, Footprints builds an ecology of urban space through the continuity of public networks.
