In the outskirt of Bari, the new Rugby stadium is for the city and the neighborhood an extraordinary opportunity to create a public attractor with different kind of activities open to the citizens.
Standing in an almost flat landscape, the program is therefore broken in three different buildings articulated in a way to be realized indipendently, and to create a sequence of public space as in a small village, with three buildings gathered around the main square, a back alley with a portico to be used for the “after match dinner”.
The central element of the composition is the building with the reception and the gym, in direct communication with the changing rooms, and opening towards a small piazza and the back hallway. The facade of this building acts as a signal, with its mosaic tiles reproducing silhouettes of football and rugby players.
