Floating Architecture is a series of installations orginated from the one realized for the 12th Architecture Venice Biennale.
SaveIT invited to reflect on the issues related to public space, a common good in the process of disappearing.
A cloud of lifebuoys which alludes to our idea of playful public space, able to manage the conflict between order and disorder that permeates urban space but also alludes to a world where survival is first and foremost a collective responsibility.

In Doha, in occasion of the festival Tasmeem 3Ajeeb! the same device has been used for a workshop with the students of VCU Qatar. This exercise about modularity and space brought to realize a playful and interactive space-making device made of 250 swim rings that reinterpreted the basic bedouin shelter, the tent.

In Carpi, for the first edition of the Festa del Gioco three different installations - a colourful sky for via Guaitoli, a labyrinth in Piazza dei Martiri, and a cloud in the courtyard of Palazzo dei Pio  - have been realized with three different degrees of interaction and play, aligned along the monumental axis of the city.

Floating architecture is another example of what ma0 calls productive installations, whose materials have a lifecycle that goes well beyond the event: all the inflatables have been given to the visitors...
